We have lived in our house in Amish country for about 6 years, and it has been an adventure.  We knew our house would need some work when we moved in, but we have been constantly surprised at what we find.  We have taken on a lot of projects (and by that I mean I have started a lot of projects while my husband is out of the house and then he graciously helps me finish them when I get in over my head).  I love making my house my own one step at a time!
